Q - What is included with KidKase for $59.99?
A - The KidKase is supplied complete as shown in all photos EXCEPT there are no pockets, pouches or trays included in the interior compartment.
Q - Can the KidKase work with a car or booster seat?
A - Yes, the KidKase is designed with a unique height adjustment feature that can raise (or lower in some cases) the KidKase enough (several inches) to not interfere with most car seats.
Q - Can both, the 4 tray accessory kit and removable insert with pouches, be used at the same time?
A - No, there is only enough space to use one accessory at a time. Both can be purchased and used intermittently to change your child's backseat activity.
Q - How much does the KidKase weigh?
A - Approximately 4 lbs empty.
Q - What are the dimensions of the KidKase?
A - 14" wide, 13" tall and 4" deep. The tray is 14" wide and 11.5" deep. The front edge of the KidKase tray, when extended, is 19" from the seat back.
Q - Are the mini-markers washable?
A - Yes, they are both washable and non-toxic.
Q - Can the KidKase be used on an Airplane?
A - No, as the seat already has a fold-out table and could not be attached. It can be used to carry and store items for use on the airplane.
Q - Is the KidKase sold in stores?
A - No, it is manufactured, distributed and patented exclusively by The Active Child. It is also available on several partner websites.
Q - Can a KidKase be shipped internationally?
A - Yes, to Canada. Outside of North America special shipping rates of approximately $40 for 1 KidKase and $65 for 2 KidKases would apply.
Q - Are there international distributors?
A - No, not at this time.
Q - How do I clean the fabric on the KidKase?
A - The fabric has a stain resistant coating and will wash easily with soap and water.
Q - How long does the KidKase take to ship and be delivered?
A - Most KidKase order are shipped within 48 hours of receiving the order. The product ships from RI and takes 1-5 business days for delivery using FedEX home delivery service. Please check the FedEx ( http://www.fedex.com/grd/maps/MapEntry.do ) website for estimated transit times to your zip code. Note - the zip code of origin is 02871, this must be entered in.
Q - How long will the KidKase last?
A - In most cases, the KidKase will function properly for 2 or more years.
Q - Does it work in all cars?
A - KidKase has 3 different attachments designed for most vehicles. Some small, compact cars may not have enough leg room to comfortably use the KidKase.
Q - What if my car does not have an adjustable headrest?
A - A strap would be supplied with your KidKase order, provided the information about your vehicle has entered in the order form. The strap attaches to each side of the KidKase and wraps around the seat. Once the proper height is achieved, the strap can be tightened.
