Shipping Policy & Transit Time Information

General information

Orders are generally shipped within 1 to 2 days (not including weekends) when submitted through The Active Child website. All orders are shipped from our Rhode Island warehouse using a variety of FedEx delivery services. In addition, a street address is required as FedEx cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. A shipping notification, with FedEx tracking number, will be e-mailed to the address on the online order form once the package is scanned by FedEx (usually the day after the order is placed, except for weekends and holidays).

Choosing The Best Shipping Service

Please review the transit times for each service level (ranked from least to most expensive) listed below. The shipping calculator will determine the price of each service after you submit your zip code and the product to be ordered;

FedEx Home Delivery - 1 to 5 Business Days depending on your location, see chart below (not guaranteed). Deliveries Tuesday through Saturday only. No Monday delivery.

FedEx Express Saver - Delivered in 3 Days by 4:30 PM. Saturday delivery available in most areas for an extra charge.

FedEx Express Economy 2 Day - Delivered in 2 Days by 4:30 PM. Saturday delivery available in most areas for an extra charge. 

FedEx Express Standard Overnight - Next Day by 3PM. Saturday delivery available in most areas for an extra charge.  

*Note - Customers who need their order shipped same day using the FedEx Overnight service must contact The Active Child customer service at 800 620-4959 to confirm and place this order by phone only.
